If there’s one thing that marks the beginning of Jenna and Drew’s story, it’s the Lord’s perfect timing, far better than anything they could have planned on their own. There were countless moments when their paths should have crossed. They lived in the same dorm freshman year, Drew was Jenna’s brother’s G-little in their fraternity, and they shared so many mutual friends. Still, they never actually met. Looking back, it’s clear the Lord was simply waiting for the right moment.

That moment came sophomore year when Jenna’s best friend introduced them at Drew’s fraternity philanthropy event, Derby Days. After spending time together a few times, Drew asked Jenna on their first date at Gate 12, and from that point on he pursued her with such intention. He continued planning thoughtful dates, and before long he asked her to be his girlfriend.

Throughout their relationship, the Lord has been at the center. They have grown not only in their love for each other, but also in their individual walks with Him, continually encouraging and sharpening one another in their faith. The Lord was so gracious to draw both of them to Himself during college, and they are beyond grateful.

They cannot wait to enter into this covenant surrounded by the people they love most, giving all the glory to the One who wrote their story from the very beginning.
